George Whitefield letter, 1766 February 27, to Peter Van Brugh Livingston.

Whitefield, in London, wrote to New York merchant Livingston about the welcome Samson Occum for his preaching and how he had dined with Lord Dartmouth and was scheduled to meet the King. Whitefield mentioned that the King supported Eleazar Wheelock's efforts to convert the Indians.
